I'm not sure if it's a puzzle, but here's the data I have regarding the coin pile. And suggestions for the shadow have included lunch lady with bun, man with man-bun, buddha, lamp post, man in fedora or man with bowler.

Well, if you read the log, I actually did say Lego man as my first response right after the pic sent up. But I think I was talking to an unmonitored room so I left that one off. But it's totally possible right?

I forgot how quickly I can be completely lost if I don't check in here as well as chat. I'm embarrassed to say I just glanced at M's photo yesterday while I was on the train on the way to an event and I didn't even realize they were coins. I thought it was a weird pattern of raindrops. You can take the Vancouverite out of her raincoast reality but you can't take the raincoast reality out of the Vancouverite! I don't understand the black circles, jedpeter. And is the axis just for reference purposes or are you intending it to be a compass? What if the coins were telling us something ON OUR COIN? Or maybe it's just a sign that COINS ARE BACK, BABY! WE GOT HELLA COINPORTUNITIES COMIN ATCHA THIS CHAPTAHHH

I'm not sure about the axis lines, but I believe the black circles are there to show where a penny is laying on top of another coin and could be easily missed.
*edited to add
*Yesterday in chat Endercowz brought up the prologue poem and pointed out the line about the pennies... Nice catch Endercowz!!!

The black circles are coins that otherwise would be hidden, yes.
The axes lines were added more as a division into rough quadrants that would make it easier to count the coins present in each quadrant. Just take a look at the logs to see how friggin' difficult I found it to count the number of each coin...

Here's another type of 56 Lincoln, FWIW (probably apropos of nothing... just a pretty yellow car I thought you all might enjoy.) ?

Cornchak. The prologue video has a coin in it. look at it in the Hall. at --:36 you see a corner of it. Just wondering if that 's a thing. Also. We're screaming in the Hall.

There is a DougMarion.net. But no '56 Lincolns (it's a Chevy car site).
