The only point of interest is Jayhawk Cemetery. Interesting enough, someone named Ethel Brown is buried in the cemetery according to this.

Is the name Ethel mentioned in one of the story snippets M has posted (and I've just forgotten, which is highly likely >.>)

Ethel Brown is one of the names mentioned on the back of a photograph someone received in their alchemy kit, according to the spreadsheet.

Something might be at her grave site. The FindaGrave site has a photo of her headstone and where the plot is.

I've been following on Tumblr, but this is my first time posting on this forum. I'm in the SF Bay Area, and I could head out to Jayhawk, CA this weekend -- probably on Sunday -- if no one else is closer or can go earlier. It's under 2 hours from where I live.

It could be worth a shot if it's not too far out of the way. Who knows, there could be something there.

Whoever goes there, keep in mind that Ethel is buried along the east fence. I browsed the Google street view, and there's a second entrance (without the main sign) that's right along the east fence. It looks like you could drive along that road and find the grave.

Okay. I'll keep an eye out on the forum and Tumblr, and if no one has "solved" the next part of the story by Sunday, I'll plan on making the drive. (Now I'm kind of selfishly hoping we don't, so I have an excuse to take a little road trip.)

This very well may need to be checked out, but Ethel would have been almost 70 years old in 1958 the date of the picture. The woman in that picture looks much younger than that.
