[01:16] <cornchak_> I've solve the minecraft cipher
[01:16] <cornchak_> it was my idea that was passed by
[01:16] <cornchak_> to go back to grand mother
[01:16] <cornchak_> and wait pump quarters into her until we get a fortune that starts with "a trip"
[01:16] <cornchak_> here goes
________________________________________
[01:17] <cornchak_> in place of a lost boy
[01:17] <cornchak_> who hoped for the spring
[01:17] <cornchak_> our fair maidens stand
[01:17] <cornchak_> in a ring
[01:17] <cornchak_> find the lost girl
[01:17] <cornchak_> and follow her north
[01:17] <cornchak_> to where her father
[01:17] <cornchak_> carried her forth
[01:17] <cornchak_> mind her corner
[01:17] <cornchak_> and through that hole go
[01:17] <cornchak_> her first name follows
[01:17] <cornchak_> news you must know
[01:17] <cornchak_> that marked with the eleventh breath
[01:17] <cornchak_> tells a tale
[01:17] <cornchak_> where the train
[01:17] <cornchak_> took the son
[01:17] <cornchak_> is the end of the trail
[01:17] <cornchak_> when you get there look out
[01:17] <cornchak_> at the words set in stone
[01:18] <cornchak_> the door will open
[01:18] <cornchak_> the third that is shown
________________________________________
[01:18] <cornchak_> THAT's IT
<cornchak_> so, the fortune that started with "A Trip" is a standard grandmother's prediction fortune
[01:22] <cornchak_> ok, so I found the japanese one on twitter
[01:22] <cornchak_> but then ohhoe posted a google search that contained the english version
[01:22] <cornchak_> the poem at the beginning of both of the fortunes was the same
[01:22] <cornchak_> so I figured they were all standard
[01:22] <cornchak_> I put all of the letters in a grid, indexed into it by the minecraft numbers, and got what I posted
[01:23] <summersumz-away> keyhole iy:
thestarlightkeyhole.tumblr.com/[01:23] <cornchak_> I mean the poem on the fortune
[01:39] <cornchak_> I just wrote down all the letters in rows of 20
[01:39] <cornchak_> so they were easy to count into
[01:39] <exicice> yes
[01:39] <cornchak_> and then turned each minecraft number into a letter
[01:39] <exicice> then went by the MC code and counted?
[01:39] <cornchak_> in the grid
[01:39] <cornchak_> yes
[01:39] <cornchak_> but used the grid for shortcuts
[01:39] <exicice> yes
[01:39] <cornchak_> like each horizontal line was 100
