Kaylen and I are currently working on new path.
Take the tunnel SOUTH (Discovery is on the South Wall of the SW pavillion) to the Madison Memorial Building. The Madison Building houses the Newspaper and Current Periodicals Reading Room (First Name Periodicals) Periodical Discovery --> Periodic Table The eleventh element on the Periodic table is Sodium The story it tells is (back to Discovery) of the Discovery of Sodium by Humphry Davy and that's where we're stuck.
What do you guys think?

yay! i'm loving the "kinda getting unstuck from inside the box" thinking... PLEASE don't take this as i think you're wrong (i don't), but as i thought about and searched the web for periodical/periodic and other stuff, i came up with another idea (finally!):
(who would have EVER thought i'd look forward to having multiple rabbit holes to dig in again?!)
so, periodicals discovery = discover magazine? established in 1980, sold in 1991 (the eleventh breath?) to walt disney co. could he (or one of the disney peeps) "have a son" and "a train" and et cetera? i could go a bunch of places with this. tried one at the door (first time ever, i think - we'll see if that does anything), but wanted to throw this out here.
EDIT: AGH! did you guys see that mr shirt tried to visit us on the 20th? cornchak has declared that he will quit his job and never work again since he was working at the time and didn't see ls join! let's all come together in trying to keep a better eye on the room (guilty of not being around much, right here <---) so chaky doesn't end up broke and desolate out on the street.

Well, Walt Disney had a huge love of trains.. His brother Roy had two sons, but Walt had two daughters.

"In 1928, to recover from the loss of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, Disney came up with idea of a mouse character named Mortimer while on a train headed to California drawing up a few simple drawings."

yeah... it all seemed very tempting to me, too. what i submitted was the third word on the plaque that's in front of the main street train station for disneyland (the one that runs around disneyland's perimeter), ""Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy." commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Disneyland_plaque.jpg but the door hasn't moved in these last few days, so... but also, i know there's lots of other places to go with it besides getting to that specifically. for some reason, the disney thing is pulling at me, maybe because of m's insistence that 'children' are important for the story, and some kind of fantasy-aspect to it. though i like the alchemy aspect of the other path (periodic table) just as much. and i'm still not sure discover magazine can = periodical discovery.

I like this idea... and not just because it makes me feel a little more unstuck, too. LS has been to Disneyland recently as well, right? Going to mull this over and try to find time to come to Chat in the next day or two... hope to see your lovely username faces there!

copying these in here for 'yay! maybe some ideas!' sake, and as potentially easier reference. sorry for the lazy-ass a.k.a. non existent editing.
[21:29:13] <jedpeter> I wanted to think about something FTS today, so I was looking at the note on the main FTS site. [21:29:42] <jedpeter> I minded her corner (SW) of the note…where the words "The door" are [21:34:03] <jedpeter> I don't know what going through that hole would be, and whether the hole would even be the words "the door" or maybe the "d" or the "o". And I can't make the next line fit in. But then using the eleventh breath of the note - "spring" we have "door spring"? or door marked with a spring? [21:34:52] <jedpeter> I'm hoping this can be like the "let's eat at McDonald's" suggestion when nobody wants to throw out an idea. When you start with rejecting some bad ones, sometimes you can then hone in on something good. So, hone away folks.
[15:51:29] <cornchak> mind her corner and through that hole go = sw corner of library through the courtyard into the main reading room [15:52:12] <cornchak> her first name follows news you must know - discovery is in the ring of civilizations, and follows spain. We know spain because Ponce de Leon was a spanish discoverer [15:52:37] <cornchak> that marked with the eleventh breath tells a tale - we count eleven around the ring from spain and get to england, which is associated with literature, which tells a tale. [16:00:19] <cornchak> the figure of literature is also holding the book "a midsummers night's dream" [16:02:00] <cornchak> trains are mentioned several times in the play, as in "Enter, from one side, OBERON, with his train" [16:11:49] <cornchak> and that's where I was two months ago
EDIT: how about some taco bell instead of mcdonalds?
can we tie this poem into anything else we haven't thought of in a while? story characters? emoji (aaaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhhhhhh! nooooooo!!!)? anything? i like the 'oh lets look at this note again' stuff. at least it's different. maybe even if we're on the right path currently, looking "away" for a while will give us some perspective.
could chaky's 'eleventh breath' be anything besides the 11th count in the ring? i feel like there's some options in there.

huh, guys? did we ever find this? it's titled A010. was this the wooden one that was found? or a "kickstarter" one? i see a wooden a010 listed on a spreadsheet, but there's no kickstarter a010 listed, but i don't think they double up with numbering anyway. i could also easily be forgetting, or maybe this thing was found before i started coming around fts land. anyway, i'll delete later if we already know about this. www.youtube.com/watch?v=7aShrVxjU0kEDIT: welp, no. it was found in barstow. i just don't remember seeing that video.
