Despite all eagerness to get right to solving the puzzles M has presented us with, I thought it'd be fun to have a little introduction thread where new and old members can get to know each other. I mean, we're all in this for the long run, so we might as well get familiar with each other. :)
I'm Kaylen, tumblr user featheredpurpletigress. I don't have anything interesting like a box or a key, but I've got an extensive memory bank full of random facts and information and kind of a jack of all trades. I'm 18, a freshman at the community college, and someday I'd love to get into the movie business as a director or screenwriter. (Who knows, if FTS gets big enough, maybe some kind of movie version or documentary can be made. ;3) I look forward to working with all of you!

I'm Heather, but you can call me Hez. I'm in my 40s and I live in Vancouver. My tumblr is cvxn.tumblr.com and I don't have anything from M (yet) but I love mysteries, especially ones that are this participatory. Somebody was kind enough to give me some moderator privileges, so I thought I'd start off with the simple poll I just posted. Nice to "meet" you all.

I'm Nicole. My tumblr is the same as my user name here (subjectoftowels.tumblr.com; I wanted to keep things simple ). I started out just watching FTS unfold from the sidelines, but after I donated to the Kickstarter and received an Alchemy kit I decided I'd like to try and be more active. But I'm not a whiz at puzzles or anything, so I'm not sure how helpful I'll be. XD I'm in my late 20s and have an interest in reading and writing (part of what attracted me to FTS in the first place was the unique way the story's being told and that it relies on audience participation). I live near (but not in) New York City. I think this is going to be fun!

Elizabeth here, elizabethplaid from tumblr. I'm 26 (about to be 27 in a couple weeks), an avid crafter , and a doll collector/customizer. I love focusing on details and the "small picture". I've been following FTS nearly a year, I think, since before that one alchemy kit was buried near the ghost town.
I currently live in rural Maine, east of Bar Harbor, but I grew up in Alaska and North Carolina. I live less than 2-hours from the Riceville ghost town, that used to be the site of a tannery. My Kickstarter reward was the "Haines" key and a medallion.

/me waves at everyone. I'm Roxanne My username here and on tumblr is enaxor. *Since May, I can't say I'm in my 50's anymore. Darn it. I have four children and four grandchildren. I love technology, mysteries, ARGs, treasure hunts, and puzzles/riddles. Last year my daughter and I drove 24 hours to solve the whereabouts of the "twelve" in the children's book "The Clock Without A Face". I also love building things. This spring I made some patio furniture for my oldest daughter and right now I'm working on customizing a bedroom closet. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven, when I discovered the ana-white.com website. I live just outside of Portland, Oregon. And I'm loving Find The Starlight.
*I hope M doesn't take too long to tell this story. lol

hey hey! when i fist found out about this (very recently), i felt a bit 'late to the party,' as the kickstarter had ended and things seemed to be moving along just fine. i (sometimes) know how my brain works, and was hoping i would just read a bit about the project and then move on with my life without getting roped in. however, the curiousity won, and after browsing and clicking looking and counting and thinking, i just had to send a message about an idea to the facebook group (since i didn't have tumblr). and guess who is now on tumblr? and on this message board? ha. anyway, i live in san diego. it's been a strange few years, but for fun i'm currently taking (artsy-fartsy-type) classes at a community college. i don't really like writing introductions. and we shall see how long i'll keep checking in on (and thinking about) this thing before i get too frustrated at my inability to solve anything and force myself to quit!

Hi guys! Vera (also veralikesargs & atropanocturna) here, from Vermont. Have been ARGing for 5 years or so and I discovered this over at the unForums. Sadly I also discovered this too late, but I really enjoy mysteries and am glad to help out! Other than that, I am 30 year old housewife and mother to an adorable siamese kitten. I love history, art, ARGs, and mystical occult-y type things. This seems to have most of them covered!
EDIT to add: I love that this forum gives you the option to "like" posts! Its so handy when you want to say you agree, but don't want to make a full post

I'm Jean // Cherrybomb
I've been watching and reading all along but got pulled in when I paid for a mercury medallion. I essentially bought my way in.
It will be interesting to see how this unfolds. I hope people can work together. I started posting anything and everything on here to encourage others to share. I'm happy it's working.
WORK WITH ME PEOPLE!!

I'm Tabi.
I'm super new to ARGs as a whole, but this just completely gripped me, and I've spent the last week diving in head first trying to get caught up.
I'm a fellow Texan (Dallas area, if that helps with anything), in my late 20's, got a couple of kids, etc. The norm.
I'm not sure how much help I'll be at first while I get the hang of taking notes of ideas as I think of them (usually while driving. of course), but I hope to be of some use to the game!

Hi! I'm Kara (http://karawheeler.tumblr.com), and I'm 24. I just got my MLIS but I'm not employed (eek), so I guess I'm ALMOST a librarian! I live in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I learned of FTS a little late (and after the Kickstarter), but I bought a medallion from the Etsy shop, since I wanted to support the story. I've always been a big fan of creative storytelling and puzzles (Myst, Professor Layton series, ARGs, etc.).

Hi, I'm The Joker (no Tumblr account as of yet), 17, Wisconsin, and I found FTS through Unfiction. This is my first time with one of these sort of things, and I'm not really sure how much use I'll be with puzzles, but I've been following along for a little while now and hope to do what I can.
I'm also interested in starting up some discussion about the story itself, theorizing what order the scenes M has posted go in and what is actually happening in them and how the characters are connected, etc.

I'm Madejyalook (same name on tumblr and twitter), I'm currently a super-senior dual majoring in chemistry and biology, and I live in Albuquerque, NM. Shaunasketches got me interested in this just after the prologue, and I've kept an eye on it since then. I found the "center of the universe" kit. I've done a lot more lurking than talking, but that's how I am in person as well. When I have an idea I'll share it, but lately that has been few and far between.

I'm Dave. danagel on tumblr and twitter. I work in marketing for a brand that makes people smile on a daily basis, which is nice. When I'm not working, I take pictures. Mostly landscape, nature and black & white. I post/sell them as outerbostonia photography (outerbostonia.etsy.com). I won't win any talking contests, but I love a good puzzle and can overthink things with the best of 'em.

Hi, my name is tako, but i have been posting under the name nyx(nox). I don't have a tumblr. everyone keeps telling me to get one. Should I? Should i make a member account on here? i dont know what benefits there would be to registering besides someone else not posting under my name. I had lots of fun following so far and helping where i could.
