hate to start another new thread - maybe we should have one for general ideas?
anyway, i had posted on tumblr (which probably doesn't show up because n00bster tags don't work) about possibly "combining" elements - either with each other, or a cross-combined between "large" and "small" kits/vials. it may be a totally different thing, but i think m posted a few clues that also could mean "combining" things could be important. fire + whatever(burning them) = ? (cherrybomb posted something similar, about how glass is made).
specifically, these:
1. "...ways to come into the light on their own, even if it means setting themselves ablaze to cast the shadows away." and
2. "For the flame can bring light, it’s true. But it can also bring so very many other things."
both make me think fire has something to do with a solution here. however, i'm not recommending randomly burning stuff to see what happens, and it seems that's exactly what's being warned against in that second quote. and maybe i was off with combining together - maybe things need to be combined with an 'outside' source.
has anyone held the bible pages (or other items) up to a strong light source (like how a light table is used)?
can the specific things in the vials be combined then transformed by heating? (or heated on their own to make something new?)
and i totally agree with the 'overthinking' stuff, and that there are certain types of people that are attracted to this sort of thing - but how do we gain perspective and figure out what we're "really" supposed to be focusing on (and eliminating the rest of the noise) while involved? seems difficult to be objective, but seems just as difficult to objectively see what the hell is important in all of this and what isn't.
