If we are correct that the "first name follows news you must know" solution is "1876 Discovery" and that we should then look at the World's Fair in 1876 which closed in November (the 11th breath) then there are several distinct options for what this line could mean. But once this line is solved, it's basically a sprint to the finish in the last two lines. enaxor has suggested that the "son" represents one of these specific 1876 discoveries (which are plentiful, and include the typewriter, telephone and the Statue of Liberty) I have submitted a solution (!) that says the son is the Smith SONian institute, which acquired most of the engine-powered exhibits and needed a new home to fit them all (thus the train "took" the Son to the "end of the trail", the Smithsonian Castle, where old discoveries live on as part of the permanent collection). There is a plaque on the gate at the entrance to the garden and I submitted the name on it as my solution. (Cross fingers!)
