holy shit - a post! i figured we/i may be overdue for one. man alive, way more downtime than i think any of us anticipated, huh.
i figured i'd start a new thread. i was about to add on to another, then realized the time gap between them would be kinda ridiculous.
i go back and forth between thinking 'fts will pick back up' and 'fts might be over'... anyone have any ideas or theories or thoughts they want to share?
hope everyone's doing well!

I am constantly lurking on the message boards so whenever you feel lonesome you can post and I will pop out of the ether. XD
I think LS put a lot of effort into the story so I doubt he's going to abandon it, and I'm SO CURIOUS that I would be hard pressed to give it up even if the hiatus lasted a year (or, dare I say, even longer). But I think he's said before that there is some scheduled down time of varying length between the chapters?
I am doing well! How are you?

LS has said on his twitter and instagram that a lot is going down in his life. I dont know what that means exactly, but all of us have had times when we were overwhelmed by events in our lives, good or bad. I dont think hes abandoned FTS, he just has more important things to do right now.
Just got out of school for the summer, so I hope to speak to you guys more frequently. we should find something to do as a group to keep us busy until FTS returns.

i agree, subjectoftowels - i think it's something very important to him, and regardless of us or where we stand, i don't think he'd want to abandon the project. thank you both for responding! i think it's funny/cool/interesting that we're all kinda lurking here (to different degrees), sorta lying in wait and ready to jump in when needed what a unique experience this whole thing has become. i'm down for a group project/game/whatever. nothing in mind at the moment, but i'll be thinkin' on it!

Just keep posting links to crazy things like magic eye Tetris and know that you'll have people doing things "together" even if it's more parallel play than cooperative. The downtime is convenient as right now is an exceptionally busy time in my life as well. I'm getting a vacation next week though and going to an isolated camp with little service even for phones. So, that means something should happen on the FTS front... Hoping to have this birthday present for my wife done before we take off for the lake:

jed, that is gorgeous! the layered wood/stains are a beautiful touch. it's stunning! even if she gets it after next week, i'm sure she'll be thrilled. sounds like you guys have a fun vacation/birthday trip planned! and know we know that if something does happen on the fts front, we won't be frantically pinging you to get you to show up :)

I second what exicice said, but I especially want to reiterate that the canoe (or is it called something else?) is beautiful. I hope you have fun on your vacation! I have off this coming week, although I'm just having a "stay"cation and going to an amusement park one of the days.

This weekend is RTX. My friend has a friend from school who is going. I wish I could go and swing by the Superfight table and bug LS about FTS. But then maybe it's for the best that I don't go. I just registered for my yearly furry con in December and once programming opens up I'm pondering if applying for a set time period to play Superfight would be a good idea. I think it'd be fun, since people enjoyed it enough in the room when we played last year, so having a set time period to play it might bring more people around to see what it's about.

Rooster teeth did a sponsors only video where they played super fight. It was barbara Gus and some others I forget who though. I wish I could go to rtx so bad. I got to go to pax east and see some of RT. Super fight is on thinkgeek. I still need to by a copy.

Oh yeah! I'm a sponsor so I was able to catch that. It was Gus, Barbara, Kerry, and Blaine. It was pretty funny, but I wish they had played the version where you could put a bad card on someone else's hero.

I'm a sponsor as well and I enjoyed it. Luckyshirt has gotten a lot of publicity for superfight. Thinkgeek and roosterteeth are both hugely popular so it's good that he got them there.

Roosterteeth saw him at SXSW and actually approached him about going to RTX, which is insanely awesome. I'm so happy for him and I love seeing him talk about it on instagram. I totally miss him though and wish he'd come back to us soon with more FTS.

I guess Luckyshirt made a bunch of special Roosterteeth themed cards for RTX and I'm really jealous and I want a deck of all of them. Totally not fair. :C

Luckyshirt is going to Chicago Comic Con. I am so upset that I can't go I really want to go meet him. AUGH.
Also, how has everyone been doing?

I'm good! I just got a new bicycle (I haven't had one since I was in high school) and I've been having a lot of fun biking around where I live. I've also gotten back to working on my writing now that FTS isn't distracting me. How have you been, Kaylen (and everyone else)?
