Mr. Lolerzz.
I believe it is closer to the way of things to say there was nothing within those walls as you understand things to exist.
In much the same way a fish would tell you black holes do not exist.
Even after checking.
Even after cheating.

"Now I am a lake. A woman bends over me,
Searching my reaches for what she really is.
Then she turns to those liars, the candles or the moon.
I see her back, and reflect it faithfully.
She rewards me with tears and an agitation of hands.
I am important to her. She comes and goes.
Each morning it is her face that replaces the darkness.
In me she has drowned a young girsl, and in me an old woman
Rises toward her day after day, like a terrible fish." -Nyx
Narcissus like Echo died with grief. His body disappeared and where his body once lay a flower grew in it's place. The nymphs mourned his death and as they mourned Echo also mourned.

Haha. All around.
I logged in yesterday in the morning before work, climbed to the top of the mountain to get the lay of the land, then swam through a short stream and went into the forest. I had to got to work so my visit was short. It was a pleasant view.
When I checked in last night on the boards and tumblr I found what could be described as a eden after the apple. Brains everywhere. Scorched earth. A home for M. A note of thanks. Does anyone feel like we're reenacting Lord of the Flies?
I just want to know if there's any reason to go back to the minecraft server. M does "was" mean "no more"? Don't go all Clinton on us please.

There's reason to go back to the minecraft server if you want to play minecraft. But that's about it.

I really really hope that someday, when M's story is done, luckyshirt or M or someone, anyone, can show or tell us how the "ideal" solution on the server would have looked and/or been reckoned...
The one facet of this whole thing where I thought that I may have just a small amount to contribute...*sigh*

There's reason to go back to the minecraft server if you want to play minecraft. But that's about it. Well, I do like to play minecraft...the discovery of it. It's how I likely contributed to the ruin unfortunately though. Discovering what the rule meant, which water? Trying to map the realm and falling outside of the water. No excuses. If he meant the water wall (and I presume he did now) to be a literal line in the sand, then I crossed it. Intentional or not, its a rule broken. It's been great fun with my boys. So, why not on M's server, I guess. They may even dig the multitude of mob spawns and hard difficulty more than me even. Maybe not the youngest. But there's plenty of tasks that We could set ourselves to that are no more or less valuable than simply manipulating bits on any other server if we're going to be playing anyway.

I see the FTS tumblr says "only path" too. I just check everything twice. Sometimes thrice. I'll stay on the path. Thank you =)

I have a small headquarters set up in the forest, not at all strategically placed surrounded by caves. I feel I'm pretty set besides just aesthetics.

For anyone else that might still play (you know, between head-banging-wall sessions in the #irc), there's a shrine where you can use a sign to leave a message for M.
He does still log in. I saw him again today. I rambled a bit. Mused I guess. Questioned a little (lot?). But he never responded in the chat window.
I wonder what he does in there? I asked "checking the mail?" (The chest is empty now Kaylen, but I don't know if you moved things from last night.) I asked if he was fixing things. No reply of course.
Anyway. One of the tasks that I may tackle, is making a ramp up to the lava wall and bucketing up each lava source block. I'm not sure what to do with it then, except throw them all in the same one block hole if that's possible. And maybe replace the water wall. Just so it doesn't look so hellish in there.

There are ways to eliminate water sources and lava sources (without mods). Or you could use the buckets of lava to fire kilns to bake new building materials.

No, I didn't remove anything. All three books were in the mailbox. The book from the puzzle, M's note, and my reply. Of course, there's plenty of resources to make more books if we ever want to. I have some in the upstairs chest of the headquarters, and a paper farm outside.
M, I'm sorry I kind of messed up the blocks surrounding your circuit. There was so much iron down there. I didn't touch the actual circuit itself though. All I have to say is that is a LOT of repeaters. I wouldn't have the attention span to just sit down and place that many. Not to mention I'm horrible at even figuring out circuits. I can't even make a simple minecart track to work.

I'd also like to add that since I streamed the first time we got into the Minecraft server, my boyfriend started playing again and spent like 7 hours yesterday building some kind of massive mega-platform for mining. I blame FTS.

Mr. Lolerzz. I believe it is closer to the way of things to say there was nothing within those walls as you understand things to exist. In much the same way a fish would tell you black holes do not exist. Even after checking. Even after cheating. -M This got me thinking. Maybe M was waiting for some sort of trigger - who knows what, but it would potentially be way delayed so we (in game) wouldn't know why it had happened when it did. Perhaps just moving the piston. Then when he comes to check he sees that flag and things change. Or heck, (brainstorming here) maybe he's a hacker genius and the trigger makes an event that can be recorded by the server, and that server notation of some sort of the in game event triggered an app monitoring the log to then make an arduino board do this or that all Wallace and Grommet style like dropping something physical in the mail to someone, or the app just simply results in a Tumblr post being put up automatically. In game Minecraft Steve has no idea what's going on beyond his (almost literal) fish tank existence yet things are happening in the world beyond his congnition. I so badly want to know how M was going to work this thing without us being able to do traditional minecraft things that this is where my brain goes. And I keep thinking if now lucky shirt is scrambling to figure out an alternate method to route the story around a situation he couldn't have anticipated for certain. Or if he's happy to just let parts of it go untold. I'd like to think that M doesn't want it to go untold. Tangentially, anyone else notice that luckyshirt has been awfully quiet on twitter and tumblr? I think M (we) are keeping him quite busy right now. But I also think that that's got to give him some pride as a creator because the time sink he's experiencing is multiplied by However many star lighters there are now.

I think he gets just as excited when we figure something out as we do.
