Please, we need to hurry. DID THEY LISTEN Did they find the words On the pictures Did they listen Oh no. So if you heat the pictures (with an iron maybe?) setting them on fire may be a bit too literal, they'll lead us to something to listen to?

<M__> I do not have much time. [10:35] <M__> You are close. [10:35] <M__> The back of the picture. [10:35] <ohhoe|home> Enaxor is about to rub a pencil on a piece of paper over the photo. [10:35] <M__> Hold it above a flame. [10:35] <enaxor> I opened new photo in notepad, it doesn't show anything [10:35] <M__> Not too close. [10:35] <M__> Be safe.

Here's a pastebin of M's whole visit (with everyone's comments in as well), just for the record: pastebin.com/c0M9CEV1

A picture over a flame! That is so obvious in retrospect. I wasn't thinking that simply last night.
M certainly knows how to make it simple and complicated at the same time. Greedily waiting for what is on the photos.

Based on the messages on the photos, maybe we use an actual map, start at the Grand Canyon ("trip where grand begins") and adjust our coordinates based on what some think are compass directions in the photo messages, plus the [relevant] Minecraft book codes. It certainly feels like a ghost town will be connected through the use of "Stir a lifeless city". Or perhaps one of these photos is actually from a trip to the Grand Canyon, and we need to further examine the kit contents that come with it.

okay, i can't really explain why (seemed to come out of nowhere from my (the reader's) perspective and... i dunno why. maybe i'm sleep deprived. but i loved reading:
[2014-03-03T21:35:33-0600] <Kaylen> Jed did you take two of my cows
oh man. gold right there. i swear, if i just came into chat out of nowhere, i'd have no idea what any of you were talking about. why are they discussing livestock theft in an irc room? ha.
also, if we are in fact going back to minecraft, i figured i'd maybe bring this thread back from the dead (and also look for ghosts?)
